Unwashed eggs. Our chickens eat non GMO feed, as well as, insects and plants on the farm. These are a mix of Whitting True Blue chickens and various brown egg layers.
Unwashed Chicken Eggs
These eggs have not been washed. Please WASH BEFORE EATING. These eggs can sit out for one week before you need to refrigerate. Must REFRIGERATE AFTER WASHING. Once refrigerated, these eggs should be good for at least a month.

Why are the eggs different colors?
We have a few different breeds of chickens and each breed lays a different color and size egg, but they all taste the same.
Why are the yolks so yellow/orange?
The yolks are darker than store bought eggs because of the rich diet they eat. Essentially, the yolks are the color egg yolks are supposed to be with proper nutrition.
What do you feed your chickens?

-These eggs have lower cholesterol than store bought eggs.
-People who often have stomach issues eating store bought eggs can normally eat these eggs without discomfort.-Eggs will not turn into a chicken unless it’s been fertilized by a rooster and incubated.
How to tell if an egg is still fresh:Place in a container of water. If it floats or slightly raises upwards it is no longer fresh. This does not tell you if the egg has gone bad. It is important to always cook eggs thoroughly. We use the older eggs to make hard boiled eggs as these will be easier to peel than fresh eggs.
